Travel Nurse RN - Endoscopy - $2,964 per week

ProKatchers is seeking a travel nurse RN Endoscopy for a travel nursing job in Rochester, New York. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Endoscopy Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/27/2026 Duration: 8 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel SMH Level 3 RN Endo/GI Schedule: M-F 8am -8pm; on call required for overnights and weekends 5, 8hr shifts OR 4, 10hr shifts Job Duties -Answering patient questions and addressing their concerns. -Observing patient vital signs. -Sedating patients before procedures. -Recovering patients after procedures. -Administering the necessary medication to patients. -Completing all necessary documentation including patient notes and discharge documents. -Preparing the instruments, equipment, and supplies for the procedure. -Cleaning and sterilizing equipment before use. -Providing assistance to Doctors throughout the procedure. -Administering IV drips. Requirements: - NY license ONLY - BLS Certification (AHA ONLY) - ACLS Certification (AHA ONLY) - 2 years previous endoscopy procedure experience - Telemetry monitoring and rhythm identification Required - Conscious sedation - Expert IV insertion - Recovering patients from general anesthesia required - Performing intake for GI procedures ProKatchers Job ID 799320.
