Staging Intern

Netsync Network Solutions is looking for qualified individuals to fill the role of Staging Intern, specializing in Cisco Network Services. As Intern, specific job responsibilities will vary by client engagement but will focus primarily on Cisco Network architecture, system design, and implementation.Roles and Responsibilities: Work with Netsync Staging team in our Warehouse, not remote.Support, learn, and execute staging of Cisco equipment:Flash images to devicesRun Burn-in a DOA protocols to ensure the equipment is not defectiveRack and un-rack equipmentApply device configurationsImplement and support network solutions for clients based on industry and Netsync best practices. Ability to learn and apply presented Cisco technologies and skills.Strong organizational skills.Must have proficient Microsoft Office skills.Frequent use of hand tools.Able to keep a clean and tidy workplace.Work hours are from 8AM – 5PM in Netsync's Houston Warehouse.Additional Duties:Individual should be able to lift 50 lbs. Skills and experience:Minimum and limited exposure to related network services design/implementation experience including:Power and cooling related to Cisco Networking equipmentCisco Access RoutersCisco Catalyst SwitchesCisco Access Points (APs)Cisco Layer 2 SwitchingCisco Layer 3 Routing ProtocolsMinimum knowledge and related experience in network environments, including: network engineering (hardware and software); and implementing LANs and WANs. Good verbal communications and written documentation skills.Minimum Qualifications/Technical and Education Requirements:High School Diploma Current studies and courses related within Cisco IT Networking This is a paid internship
