BDA/ERCES TechnicianWe are seeking a skilled and motivated BDA/ERCES Technician to install, test, maintain, and troubleshoot ERCE and BDA systems. This role is critical in ensuring reliable in-building radio communication for first responders in compliance with local fire codes and NFPA standards.ResponsibilitiesInstall, program, and commission BDA/ERCES systems in commercial and industrial buildingsPerform system testing, inspections, and troubleshootingConduct signal strength testing and grid testing per AHJ and code requirementsInterpret RF test results and adjust system components accordinglyMaintain accurate documentation, including test reports and as-built drawingsCoordinate with project managers, AHJs (Authorities Having Jurisdiction), and other tradesPerform routine maintenance and emergency service callsEnsure all work complies with applicable codes (NFPA, IFC, FCC regulations)QualificationsExperience with BDA, DAS, ERCES, or RF systems preferredKnowledge of RF principles, signal propagation, and testing equipmentFamiliarity with NFPA 72, IFC Section 510, and local fire code requirementsAbility to read blueprints and technical diagramsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsValid driver's license and ability to travel to job sitesPreferred Certifications (a plus)NICET certification (Fire Alarm Systems or related)Manufacturer certificationsYou'll Benefit from:Unlimited Growth Opportunity : With a constantly expanding range of products and vertical markets, we consistently experience double-digit growth, creating new avenues for advancement and promotion within our company.Comprehensive Benefits Package : Our benefits package is here to support you and your well-being.
