Paralegal - Corporate
Shutts & Bowen LLP, a leading Florida law firm, seeks a Corporate Paralegal to join our team in Sarasota, Florida. Essential FunctionsAssist with all stages of corporate formations/organizations, the preparation for and closing of various corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions.Maintain corporate records, obtain necessary corporate documents.Handle all aspects of corporate governance filings for corporations/entities, including preparing tax filings.Maintain corporate records, obtain necessary corporate documents.Initiating and managing all aspects of the dissolution of for-profit and non-profit corporations.Excellent communication skills, analytical and organizational abilities, and a proactive nature to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Knowledge of timekeeping for billable and non-billable work.Consistently deliver outstanding client service and quality.The above description is intended to describe the general nature and work employees perform in this position.
