Interventional Radiology Location: Knoxville, TN Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,751 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/15/2026 About the Position Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 17:30 Experience: Minimum of 2 years recent clinical experience required License: Must have an active ARRT certification with advanced certification in Vascular Interventional Radiography, Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography, or Cardiac Interventional Radiography. Certifications: BLS-AHA, ARRT (R), and advanced certification in one of the specified areas. Must-Have: Recent Neuro and Stroke experience; familiarity with PACS and contrast studies; experience in performing biopsies. Description: Schedule consists of 4x10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday. Daily shift hours are from 07:00 to 17:30, with one day off each week. Call responsibilities include two nights of call per week and one weekend of call per month. Call back response time is 30 minutes. Candidates must have recent experience in Neuro and Stroke procedures. Proficiency with equipment, specifically Siemens Floating, is required. Travelers may be floated to other departments within their skill set if census is low. Time off requests during major holidays will not be accommodated. Preferred charting experience includes Cerner. Travel experience is required. Candidates must have the ability to manage patient care and perform Interventional Radiology procedures such as angioplasty, stent placement, and embolization. Additional skills required include accessing/managing ports, performing biopsies, and various interventions. Completed modules during orientation are non-billable and required annually.
