Neurology Physician

LOCUM Neurologist : North, New Hampshire Schedule:6-12 months +M-F, 8-5 (one hour scheduled lunch 12-1)No overtime unless pre-approvedNo callProvides office-based general neurology services to new and established patients (mostly adults and adolescents), including medication management, education and counseling of patients and families, ordering diagnostic tests, referral to related other specialties (e.g., cardiology, orthopedics, pain management, pulmonology, sleep medicine) locally, referral to subspecialty neurologists at tertiary care centers, and communication with PCP's.Required:Skills to interpret EEGsAbility to obtain NH perm license quickly (physician must be willing and engaged in completing application, fingerprints, etc ASAP) Must be currently performing and interpreting EMGs Experience required Prefer candidates who have prior experience (at least 2-5 years) in a broad spectrum of general neurology.Must be comfortable with the rural nature of the practice/hospital; they would be solo coverageAbility to interpret EEG studiesAbility to perform and interpret NCS/EMG studiesAbility to perform Botox injectionsTypical productivity (based on the usual mix of new and established patients) will be 12 to 16 patients per day.
