OverviewRegistered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) travel assignment in Portland, Oregon. Start date 06/01/2026 for a 13-week engagement. Weekly pay ranges from $1,958 to $2,069 per week. The assignment takes place in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital with an OR team delivering perioperative care.Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,958–$2,069 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 4x10-hour days Start date: 06/01/2026 Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital (Operating Room)Responsibilities Provide perioperative nursing care in the OR across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases Function as a Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) per scope of practice; assist the surgeon with exposure, tissue handling, hemostasis, and wound closure Maintain sterile technique, instrument sterility, and environmental controls to support patient safety Monitor patient status and coordinate with anesthesia and the surgical team; respond to intraoperative events and document actions Prepare and position patients, handle specimens, and ensure OR equipment and room readiness and turnover between casesRequirements Active RN license in Oregon (or eligible) to practice in the state Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) certification required Current CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification per AH policy Perioperative nursing or CSFA experience preferred; ability to function in a high-acuity OR setting Ability to work 4x10-hour day shifts in an OR environment Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program (RN)Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated assignment support throughout the engagement Credentialing and onboarding assistance Housing assistance and relocation support where availableFind more opportunitiesInterested in other openings available at Healthforce Healthcare LLC?
