The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems implementation, data integration, and enterprise platform rollouts—such as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), EAM (Enterprise Asset Management), and FSM (Field Service Management).This role requires a combination of project leadership, industry expertise, and technical acumen to ensure successful outcomes in dynamic client environments. The TPM will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors—ensuring that project scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met.Key Responsibilities:Project Leadership:Define & manage project scope, objectives, deliverables and develop project plans, resource requirements, timelines and ensure project milestones are met timelyDevelop detailed project charters, work breakdown structures, and execution plans aligned with client goals and transformation roadmapsManage cross-functional delivery teams including solution architects, developers, analysts, testers, and change managersApply structured methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid) to manage timelines, risk, quality, and dependenciesTeam Management:Mentor, and manage a team of consultants and specialists, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvementMonitor team performance, provide feedback, manage conflicts and resolve issuesDefine team roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations to ensure clarity and accountabilityProvide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities and knowledge of FSM solutionsRisk & Issue ManagementProactively identify project risks, issues, and change requests; implement mitigation and escalation strategiesMaintain project health metrics and governance documentation (RAIDs logs, dependency trackers, change control)Financial & Resource ManagementManage budgets, forecasts, resource allocations, and vendor contracts in collaboration with internal operationsEnsure project profitability and compliance with client contractual obligations and timelinesContinuous Improvement & Quality AssurancePromote continuous improvement through lessons learned, feedback loops, and project retrospectivesEnsure project deliverables meet established quality standards, conduct quality audits and reviews, and implement quality improvement processesChange Management:Support change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage of required changes. Facilitate communication and cross-collaboration among stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of change initiatives and their benefitsClient & Stakeholder Engagement:Serve as the primary point of contact for client leadership and stakeholders across IT, business, and operationsConduct status reporting, steering committee presentations, and facilitate key decision-making sessionsTranslate business requirements into executable technical plans and ensure alignment between IT and business outcomesEducational Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience. Advanced degree (MBA or Master’s) is preferredRequired Skills and Experience:Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with a significant focus on the utilities, energy, telecom, or oil & gas industriesExperience using Agile and Waterfall methodologies in SaaS companies or with system integratorsProven track record of leading and delivering on complex international projects, working with existing technology stack (ERP, FSM, GIS, ADMS, CRM, CIS, BI, Datawarehouse, etc.)Experience in gathering customer requirements, prioritizing product backlogs, and developing budgets and project schedulesSkilled in drafting and issuing comprehensive Statements of Work (SoW) to defined project scopes and deliverablesProfessional certifications (e.g., PMP, CSM, CSPO, ITIL, PRINCE, etc.) Strong understanding of utility operations, asset management, and regulatory complianceDemonstrated experience in team building and leadership, with the ability to inspire and develop talentExcellent project management skills, including proficiency in project planning, execution, and risk managementExceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage clients and stakeholders at all levelsStrong communication skills with the ability to engage with clients effectively, collaborate with internal teams, and interact with managementAbility to travel to client site (domestic and(or) international) as required and defined per project requirementsPreferred Skills:Consulting background with experience in client-facing roles delivering high-impact programsExperience working in consulting environments, managing multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teamsSalary: $130,000 - $160,000 AnnuallyThe salary range for this position is provided in good faith and is subject to variation based on geographic location, candidate experience, and market conditions.
