Silent-Aire Mission Critical Services The Field Install Technician ensures that assembling requirements are fulfilled in accordance with the Engineered Drawings received, assembles the unit in accordance with approved procedures and assembly instructions. Verifies that materials used, and the assembled unit sections meet product and process specifications. The Assembler works under the direct supervision of a Rigging Foreman and/or the Construction Manager to satisfy work assignments. Read plans as required to identify pick points, and assembly of the overall units. Assess the hardware needed to achieve the design and discuss with the Site Construction Manager any specific concerns. Gather any special equipment and supplies needed to install as planned. Ensure that all assets are secured before the end of a shift. This includes the approved use of lifts, tools, and other approved methodologies. Ensure all units are placed correctly per engineered drawings. Ensure all units are secured correctly per engineered drawings. Ensure all units have been connected/interconnected correctly and perform a spot check on the team. Setting, aligning, and leveling heavy equipment machinery. Selecting the appropriate rigging gear. Preparing rigging equipment including beams, pulleys, clamps, shackles, bolts etc. Inspecting rigging before use. Monitoring and maintaining rigging equipment. Maneuvering loads using heavy equipment machinery and by hand. Ensuring compliance with state and company safety procedures. Communicating with the rigging and construction team. Breaking down rigging equipment and conducting post-rigging inspections (as needed) Record and report any damage to person or property during the operation • Produce high quality products and services for our customers. The Field Install Technician will have experience in the following areas: In-depth knowledge of rigging equipment and heavy machinery. Excellent hearing and vision. Ability to work at heights and in noisy environments Ability to work outdoors in harsh weather conditions Responsible for your work area to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the area. Relies on work instructions and pre-established processes to perform the functions of the job. Review construction plans, confirm the rigging requirements and overall technical requirements of rigging needed to properly secure all installation. Perform inspection of all rigging installations Ability to lead a team of riggers and interact with all other disciplines as required • Site management Skills Proven ability to manage inventory and follow processes Excellent verbal and written communications skills Proven experience as assembler PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to move objects 40+ lbs. Frequently ascends/descends over 6 feet. Must be able to frequently walk and stand. Occasionally sitting. Occasionally doing repetitive motions. Frequently operates machinery and/or power tools. Frequently operates a motor vehicle. Frequently operates heavy equipment CERTIFICATIONS: OSHA 30 training Aerial Platform Certification Company Uniform is required. This is a safety sensitive position.
