By offering cutting-edge treatments, innovative research, and a patient-centered approach, we are redefining what’s possible in the fight against cancer and blood disorders.If you want to be part of a growing organization committed to healing, hope, and advanced care, join us and help make a meaningful impact!Job DescriptionCloud Solutions ArchitectLocation: Ridge, NY (In person, no remote opportunity)Hours/Days: Full-Time, Monday–FridayOrganization: New York Cancer & Blood Specialists ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and optimize secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions primarily within AWSArchitect and deploy AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Route53, IAM, and related technologiesBuild and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and AWS CloudFormation)Lead and support cloud migration initiatives from on-premise environments to AWSEnhance performance, reliability, and security across existing cloud workloadsImplement and maintain cloud security best practices, governance standards, and compliance controlsConfigure and manage encryption solutions for data at rest and in transit using AWS KMS and related servicesMonitor, audit, and assess cloud environments using AWS Config, CloudTrail, and security monitoring toolsConduct vulnerability assessments, threat modeling, and security reviewsCollaborate cross-functionally with security, infrastructure, DevOps, and application development teamsSupport CI/CD pipelines, automation initiatives, and secure DevOps practicesCreate architecture documentation, technical diagrams, and operational standardsTranslate complex technical concepts into clear communication for both technical and non-technical stakeholdersRequirements2+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing cloud solutionsStrong experience working within AWS cloud environmentsSolid understanding of cloud security concepts including IAM, networking, encryption, least-privilege access, and security best practicesExperience supporting Linux and/or Windows server environmentsProficiency with scripting languages such as Python or BashExperience with automation, DevOps tools, and CI/CD pipelinesStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and collaborativelyBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience)Preferred QualificationsAWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate and/or AWS Certified Security – SpecialtyExperience within healthcare, HIPAA, PCI DSS, HITRUST, or other regulated environmentsExperience with Microsoft Azure technologies and security toolsAdvanced Terraform experienceExperience with containers and cloud-native technologies including Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, and AWS LambdaExperience building or integrating APIs using FastAPIExposure to Robotic Process Automation (RPA) platforms and workflow automation toolsWorking Days: Monday-Friday Starting Salary- $135,000/yr based on experience and educationBenefits include Health Insurance on day 1 of employment, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short and Long term disability, 401k Plan, PTO time, 8 paid holidays (2 floating) and more.Visit our website at: nycancer.com and follow us on FacebookNYCBS is an Equal Opportunity Employer
