Monitor upcoming deliveries and verify incoming raw materials upon receipt. Confirm materials match purchase orders and supplier Certificates of Analysis (COAs). Compare raw materials against internal standards when applicable. Label, sample, and prepare materials for internal testing, retains, standards, and thirdparty laboratories. Coordinate external laboratory testing with the Quality Control Administrator. Perform physical testing such as appearance, odor, color, pH, viscosity, and specific gravity. Accurately document inspection results in CMS. Communicate inspection failures or concerns with relevant internal teams. Partner with Customer Service and R&D to help qualify new raw materials for successful manufacturing. General Quality Control Responsibilities Calibrate shared laboratory equipment including pH meters, balances, UV/VIS spectrophotometers, and viscometers. Prepare reagents and solutions to support testing activities. Assist in creating and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Ensure all work is documented and compliant with SOPs, cGMP, and cGDP requirements. Participate in laboratory investigations and customer complaint reviews. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Quality Control laboratory. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized lab environment. Perform other duties as assigned as part of a collaborative QC team. ________________________________________What We’re Looking For Knowledge of cGMP requirements or a strong desire to learn. Excellent organizational skills and sharp attention to detail. Ability to multitask and adapt in a fastpaced environment. Basic computer skills and Microsoft Office proficiency. Education & ExperienceWe welcome candidates from a range of backgrounds: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific discipline with 0 to 1 years of laboratory or related experience Associate’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific discipline with 1 to 3 years of laboratory or related experience High School Diploma or equivalent with 1 to 5 years of laboratory or related experience________________________________________Physical Requirements Ability to work fulltime, with flexibility for additional hours based on business needs. Ability to hear, speak, and see adequately (with or without reasonable accommodation). Manual dexterity and handeye coordination to operate laboratory and office equipment. Ability to stand, walk, reach, grasp, and use hands occasionally. Ability to lift and/or move objects up to 20 pounds. Vision requirements include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
