Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to residents and patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Assess patients’ needs and progress, adjusting therapeutic approaches as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes. Educate residents, families, and caregivers on techniques and strategies to promote continued functional improvement. Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress reports in compliance with state and facility standards. Participate in team meetings, staff training, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes. Requirements Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program with at least a bachelor’s degree. Current certification or eligibility for certification with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT), as required by state regulations. Valid state license to practice occupational therapy. Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Commitment to providing compassionate, person-centered care. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting. Familiarity with interdisciplinary care models and electronic health record systems.
