Systems Engineer

Overview In this onsite Sr. Systems Engineer role, you will strengthen and manage a Microsoft-focused cloud environment to support the organization, focusing on 365 services, device management, identity, and cloud automation. You’ll collaborate with security, compliance, and IT partners to improve stability and governance while guiding broader IT initiatives. Your work will span design, automation, incident response, and documentation to enable scalable, secure Microsoft workloads. This is a hands-on role with meaningful impact on cloud maturity and operational efficiency. ResponsibilitiesOversee performance, security, and daily administration of Microsoft 365 apps (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive)Refine Intune configurations for endpoint management, compliance, and software deploymentAdminister Entra ID for authentication, privileged access, conditional access, and hybrid identity supportSupport design, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Azure-based services underpinning cloud infrastructureDevelop business-focused solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI to improve reporting and processesInvestigate high-severity incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement durable fixes for M365 and AzureBuild and maintain automation using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph to reduce manual workProduce and update technical documentation covering architecture and proceduresAssess new Microsoft capabilities and licensing updates and advise on adoption and governanceProvide technical mentorship and collaborate on audits, controls, and risk reduction Key requirementsExtensive experience with Azure, Intune, Entra ID, and Power PlatformAbility to resolve complex incidents and guide IT effortsonsite in Martinez, CAExperience with PowerShell and Microsoft Graph for automationKnowledge of M365 applications including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDriveCollaboration with security, compliance, and IT partners on audits and controlsproblem-solvingmentorshipcollaborationAzureIntuneEntra ID
