Job Title: Accounting Intern (Part-Time - Seasonal)Location: Carlsbad, California (On-Site)Department: Accounting, Finance & Special ProjectsReports To: Britney Bennett, VP of Finance and AccountingEmployment Type: Part-Time, Hourly (Non-Exempt)Position SummaryAllegiance Supply Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to support our Accounting, Finance, and Special Projects division. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in core accounting functions, financial reporting, and operational initiatives within a fast-paced business environment.The ideal candidate is eager to learn, highly organized, and interested in developing foundational experience in accounting and finance.Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will support various initiatives, including:Assisting with accounting processes and financial reporting Supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable functions Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Supporting month-end and ad-hoc financial close activities Assisting with data entry, reconciliation, and documentation of financial records Supporting special projects and operational initiatives as assigned Assisting with process improvement efforts within the finance and accounting functions QualificationsCurrently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and time management skills Work Environment & ScheduleThis is a part-time, on-site position based in Carlsbad, California Work schedule will be assigned based on business needs within standard business hours Compensation & ClassificationThis position is classified as hourly, non-exempt in accordance with applicable federal and California state labor laws Hourly compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications Eligible for overtime pay in accordance with applicable law Equal Opportunity StatementAllegiance Supply Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected status under applicable law.
