Advanced Practice Nurse - Cardiac CRNA

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team immediately. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:Conducting preoperative assessments of patient status and ordering preoperative medication under supervision.Administering drugs to produce sedation or anesthesia.Inserting arterial and venous catheters.Monitoring patients during anesthesia until they regain consciousness.Frequently participating with the Code 88 team for resuscitation efforts.Preferred ExperiencePrevious experience in cardiac anesthesia is highly preferred.Education and Required Licenses/CredentialsGraduation from a CRNA program.Current NJ-RN license and AANA Council eligibility/certification.Minimum requirement of current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.Maintain Continuing Education Units (CEU) status according to AANA Council on Re-Certification.Confirmation of credentials must be communicated to the hospital Credentials Committee.Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) certification, or a pending application as required.
