Medium Voltage Electrician Foreman
THE POSITION
Step into a leadership role with the Fish and Boat Commission as a Medium Voltage Electrician Foreman. In this position, you will oversee projects that keep hatcheries and support facilities operating at their best. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position leads electrical and construction work that supports hatchery operations and facility upkeep across northern Pennsylvania. As a Medium Voltage Electrician Foreman, you will perform the following duties:
Project Planning: Coordinate electrical and infrastructure projects, develop plans, and manage materials and permits
Employee Supervision: Direct trades staff, assign tasks, and complete performance evaluations
Electrical Work: Oversee installation and repair of electrical systems ranging from 110V to medium voltage up to 600V
Construction Tasks: Guide crews in concrete work, trenching, equipment operation, and facility repairs
Technical Coordination: Work with engineers on project designs, inspections, and final approvals

Work Schedule and Additional Information
Full-time employment
Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
This position may be eligible for alternate work schedule.
Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements
One year of experience as a Medium Voltage Electrician (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
Six years of journey-level experience in the electrical trade, including one year of experience in medium voltage electrical work; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training, which includes one year of experience in medium voltage electrical work.
Conditions of Employment
This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Driver's License.
