Program Manager

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Hybrid Security Program Manager to lead and oversee security-related programs for Walmart's distribution centers and retail stores across the U.S. Majority of the work can be done remote, however the individual must reside in Arkansas. This role requires a strong background in managing security and fire protection projects, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to drive operational excellence in a fast-paced environment. The Security Program Manager will manage a team of 8 Project Managers , ensuring successful execution of projects, adherence to timelines, and compliance with client standards. Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage all security-related projects, including fire systems where applicable. Lead, mentor, and support a team of 8 Project Managers, ensuring alignment with program goals and client expectations. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and deliverables using project management software. Ensure compliance with industry standards, client requirements, and safety regulations. Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and client stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain project momentum. Provide regular status updates and reporting to senior leadership and the client. Travel as needed (up to once per month) for site visits and client meetings. Qualifications Required PMP Certification. Proven experience as a Program Manager overseeing security-related projects (fire systems experience preferred). Strong leadership skills with experience managing multiple Project Managers. Must be local to Bentonville, AR. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar). Preferred Experience with Bosch and Edwards systems. Background in security and fire protection systems within retail or distribution environments.
