Controller About the RoleWe are seeking a hands-on Controller to oversee financial operations for a growing manufacturing and distribution organization. This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for strengthening financial reporting, improving operational visibility, and partnering closely with leadership to support continued growth.This role is ideal for someone who is both detail-oriented and strategic, comfortable working in the day-to-day accounting functions while also identifying trends, solving problems, and driving process improvements.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all accounting functions including general ledger, A/P, A/R, payroll, and month-end closePrepare accurate and timely financial statements and internal reporting packagesEnsure financial data integrity, compliance, and reporting accuracyPartner with leadership to analyze business performance and support decision-makingEvaluate financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunitiesLead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processesImprove accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting efficiencyWork closely with operations to align financial and business performanceLeverage ERP systems to improve automation, accuracy, and efficiencySupport audits and financial reviews as neededWhat We're Looking For7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience (10+ preferred)Strong background in manufacturing or distribution environmentsExperience with cost accounting and inventory management requiredSolid understanding of financial reporting and operational financeExperience with ERP systems (NetSuite or similar strongly preferred)Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a root-cause mindsetAbility to communicate clearly with leadership and cross-functional teamsHigh level of ownership, accountability, and follow-throughIdeal Candidate ProfileHands-on leader who is comfortable in both tactical and strategic workCurious, investigative, and solution-orientedThrives in environments that require structure, cleanup, and improvementStrong communicator who can influence and partner with leadershipSelf-directed while keeping stakeholders informed and alignedWhy This RoleThis is a high-impact opportunity to step into a key leadership position within a growing organization.
