Heavy Line Technician Responsibilities Perform in-depth repairs and overhauls on engines, transmissions, differentials, and other major drivetrain components on GM vehicles. Diagnose mechanical failures and perform heavy mechanical repairs with precision and efficiency. Utilize OEM diagnostic equipment and technical resources to support complex repair work. Collaborate with service advisors to provide accurate repair estimates and timelines. Ensure all repairs meet GM factory standards and warranty requirements. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, adhering to all safety protocols. Keep up-to-date with factory training and certifications related to heavy mechanical repairs. Heavy Line Technician Compensation and Benefits Pay Range: $50.00 to $60.00 flat rate per hour, with up to 125 billable hours guaranteed per pay period. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available for qualified candidates. Tow trucks provided to help transport your tools!
