Print TechnicianSCI is an American-based manufacturing company recognized as one of the nation's leading suppliers of high-quality custom commercial and hospitality millwork, furniture and graphics.Position OverviewThe Print Technician will be responsible for the printer operations of our large format digital printer and cutter. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in running and maintaining print equipment and color management, with the ability to fabricate high-quality printed materials. This is a rapidly expanding and growing graphics department with an opportunity for future advancement within the company.Key Responsibilities for the Print Technician:Operate and maintain high quality, wide format, digital printing equipmentFollow production schedules to ensure deadlines are metReview job orders to ensure the right material is on handAbility to perform vinyl prep tasks such as weeding, masking, and mounting graphics to substrates like foam board, acrylic, and coroplastPhysically able to lift 50+ lbs. and stand for extended periodsPreferred Qualifications:High School diploma/GEDPrevious experience in digital printing is requiredStrong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentIn-depth understanding of printing technologies and color managementCreativity, problem solving & forward-thinking skillsAbility to conduct routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to ensure optimal performanceExperience with EFI Vutek Large Format Printer and Zund Cutting Technology preferredBenefits:Medical, Dental, VisionSupplemental InsuranceSavings AccountsRetirement AccountsPaid Time Off
