Founded in 1977, CASA is the official 501c3 domestic violence center based in Pinellas County, FL. We operate the area’s 24-hour hotline and emergency shelter; non-residential programs, such as support groups, economic empowerment and legal advocacy; Child Protective Investigative Team support; community and corporate training; and the CASA Peacemakers anti-bullying and healthy relationship school curriculum.
Position Title: Lead Case Manager
Reports To: Family Justice Center Manager
Major Function: Provide quality direct services to survivors who come to the Family Justice Center, and collaborate with onsite/offsite partners to ensure wrap around services are provided.
FLSA: Non-exempt
Illustrative Duties:
· Complete ongoing file reviews with staff to ensure forms are completed properly, documentation is accurate in Osnium, and quality services are provided to survivors.
· Assists in training new advocates.
Provide input for program development.
· Ensure that all services are documented in the appropriate report and database.
· Complete all required paperwork, data entry, and monthly reports in a timely manner.
· Monitor advocacy service delivery for compliance with state, federal, and local grant requirements.
· Prepares monthly reports and maintains records of statistics and KPIs
· Prepares statistical reports according to grant requirements.
· Assist in documenting and entering staff training hours into database.
As needed, attend and participate in case conferences, staff meetings, trainings, community meetings, and presentations.
· Provide support, advocacy, crisis intervention, case management, and resources to survivors of domestic violence following the empowerment-based advocacy model.
· Carry an assigned caseload and meet with participants on a regular basis to provide resources, advocacy, and ongoing safety planning.
· Complete intake process with survivor including assessments and developing a case plan.
· Assist participants with housing needs by completing housing assessments, collecting all required documentation in compliance with housing funder requirements, and completing the Purchase Payment Requisition (PPR).
· Answer hotline calls and assess for appropriate services and referrals, provide safety planning, while screening and pending for shelter as needed.
· Facilitate and coordinate support groups/empowerment-based workshops.
· Review all available services with survivor and link the survivor with appropriate partners.
· Coordinate and assists with transportation for survivors and their children to necessary appointments related to the domestic violence incident in CASA vehicles or planning routes to utilize the bus system.
· Prepare high-risk case review and participate in high-risk case staffing’s.
· Work with survivors to assist them in assessing their needs and goals and help them develop and implement a plan to achieve their goals.
· Assist survivors with completing the injunction packet and attend court with the survivor as needed.
· Provide participants with information about the Victim Compensation Program and the Address Confidentiality Program.
· Advocate with other community agencies and the criminal justice system on participant’s behalf as needed.
· Collaborate with onsite and offsite partners to ensure wrap around services are provided.
Acts as a liaison with community partners.
· Provide backup and assistance to any program areas as requested by management.
· Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of all areas designated for use by participants.
· Ensure basic needs and food are stocked in the pantry at all times.
Complete all required documents, paperwork, and computer entries in an accurate and timely manner.
Perform all other duties as assigned
General:

· Demonstrate a commitment to treat residents, volunteers, and co-workers in a respectful manner at all times.
· All program positions are considered “emergency essential” and as such may be required to be available to remain onsite and/or required to assist during emergencies and other critical times.
· Attend staff meetings.
· Attend and participate in ongoing training opportunities.
· Assist with training and supervision of volunteers.
· Agree to work a flexible schedule when required, which may include changing schedules to ensure case management coverage, due to illness, absence, vacation other staff members, or a natural disaster.
· Complete special projects and presentations as requested.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent education/life experience preferred, or a minimum of one-year proven success in a current CASA direct service position,
· Experience working with survivors of domestic violence or other crisis related experience preferred.
· Demonstrate knowledge of current community resources and have the ability to maintain working relationships with agencies.
· Agree to drive agency vehicles as needed.
· Ability to function independently and work cooperatively as a member of a team.
· Possess a valid Florida State Driver’s License to be verified on an annual basis.
· Possess the ability to climb stairs and lift at least 50 pounds.
· Agree to participate in a background check upon employment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $23.50 per hour
