We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Manager of IT Infrastructure to lead the delivery and management of both our company’s and our clients’ IT infrastructure. This role involves overseeing the design, deployment, and maintenance of diverse IT environments across multiple clients while ensuring high service quality and security. Additionally, you will be responsible for designing floor plans for IT infrastructure and physical security systems (including cameras and access control). The ideal candidate will also provide Tier 3 support to our internal team and clients, serving as the technical escalation point. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. **Leadership and Strategy:** - Develop and implement IT infrastructure strategies that align with both internal goals and client needs. - Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, ensuring they meet performance goals, SLAs, and grow within the organization. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives across service delivery, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. 2. **Client Infrastructure and Security Design:** - Design and implement IT infrastructure floor plans tailored to customer environments, including networking, server rooms, and related systems. - Develop and oversee physical security plans, including surveillance (cameras) and access control systems, ensuring comprehensive and scalable solutions. - Conduct assessments of client sites to ensure infrastructure and security designs align with their operational requirements. 3. **Client Infrastructure Management:** - Oversee the management and monitoring of IT infrastructure across multiple client environments, ensuring optimal performance and availability. - Regularly engage with clients to evaluate performance, scalability, and security needs, proactively recommending upgrades or changes. - Ensure disaster recovery and business continuity plans are developed and regularly tested for all client environments. 4. **Security, Compliance, and Best Practices:** - Implement standardized security protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations across both internal and client environments. - Oversee the enforcement of best practices in data protection, access control, and vulnerability management. 5. **Vendor and Partner Management:** - Manage vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring optimal service delivery for internal operations and client projects. - Coordinate with third-party providers to deliver integrated solutions for IT infrastructure and physical security. 6. **Project Management and Service Delivery:** - Lead and execute infrastructure and security projects, from design to deployment, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. - Collaborate with account managers, sales teams, and client stakeholders to tailor solutions to client specifications. - Provide regular updates on project status, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies. 7. **Tier 3 Support and Operational Excellence:** - Serve as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues, providing Tier 3 support to both internal teams and clients. - Optimize operational processes and introduce automation where possible to enhance service delivery. - Oversee the incident management process, ensuring swift resolution of high-impact issues. **Understanding of IT Infrastructure:** - Oversee and manage all components of IT infrastructure, including: - **Hardware:** Servers, network devices, storage devices, and end-user devices. - **Software:** Operating systems, applications, virtualization platforms, and management/monitoring tools. - **Network Resources:** Internet/intranet connectivity, cloud services, and VPN solutions. - **Security:** Firewalls, intrusion detection systems, endpoint security, and physical security. - **People and Processes:** Leading the IT team, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with IT policies and regulations. - Ensure efficient operation, scalability, security, and compliance of all infrastructure components, supporting business continuity and client needs. **Qualifications:** - Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. - If no college degree, relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, ITIL) are required. - 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, preferably within an MSP or similar multi-client environment. - Proven experience designing IT infrastructure and physical security solutions (cameras, access control) for clients. - Strong expertise in networking, virtualization, cloud platforms, and data center management. - Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including administration and management across multiple tenants. - Solid understanding of cybersecurity practices, regulatory compliance, and industry best practices. - Excellent communication, client-facing, and leadership skills. **Preferred Qualifications:** -
