Our technicians are eligible for an incentive program with potential earnings up to $800 monthly.PurposeIndependently performs advanced diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer, as well as dealer-owned, turf equipment or other work as assigned by Supervisor.ResponsibilitiesPerforms advanced diagnostics and repairs on consumer and commercial turf equipment as well as Ag Management Solutions (AMS) productsParticipates in service training programs required for the development of skills and knowledgeMaintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive productsMaintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools and equipmentMaintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashionFollows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignmentsCompletes all reports and forms and tasks required in conjunction with work assignments, including researching and requesting parts neededAccounts for all time and all material used in performing assigned duties according to dealership processes and business systemCommunicates professionally and effectively with manufacturers when neededMay perform diagnosis and repair in the fieldMay provide delivery services when neededMay conduct or support customer clinicsThis job description is not intended to be all inclusive and employee will also perform other reasonable related business duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or other leadership as required. Company reserves the right to revise or change job duties and responsibilities as the need arises.Experience, Education, Skills And KnowledgeEducation: High School Diploma or equivalent experience requiredExperience: 5+ years of professional experience performing service repairsSkills: Ability to perform advanced repairs and maintenance using special tools and equipment following technical manual procedures, proficient oral and written communication skills, ability to use Service Advisor and basic computer functions, advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of turf equipmentProvide tools needed to perform job duties (Specialty tools are owned and provided by dealership)Excellent skills in operating vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes.Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedlyValid insurable driver’s license requiredWorking Conditions: Ability to work extended/flexible hours that may include some scheduled Saturdays
