Job Title: Iraqi Language Instructor DATE: 1 MAR - 30 JUN 2025 Tentative Schedule: Weekends Sat & Sun 4 Hours/day; on 1-2 days per week to start. Some weekdays possible Total Scheduled Instruction Hours: 96 Hours Location: Annandale, VA or Possibly virtual Student's Level: intermediate Description: Language on Demand, Inc. is in Northern Virginia (United States) offering a full range of language and staffing services to the government and commercial clients. LOD is seeking in-person or possibly remote Iraqi Language Instructor to teach working adult students located in Annandale, VA. Duties and Responsibilities: Create lesson plans and conduct classes for students. Emphasis and focus should be to maximize the student's foreign language proficiency in Iraqi modalities of Listening, Reading, and Speaking, and to improve use of verb tenses, vocabulary and communication skills. Instructor should assign appropriate assignments after each class. Prepare and submit weekly, monthly reports and student evaluations. Qualifications: Native-level proficiency in reading, writing and speaking. Minimum of 3 years of prior experience in formal classroom instruction to students at a high school level or above. Instructor must possess prior experience in class preparation, course development and modification, and/or tutoring within a structured educational setting.
