We are currently seeking a Florida-licensed MRI Technologist to provide magnetic resonance imaging services to patients performing procedures in a compassionate and respectful manner. If you are dedicated to caring for others, this could be your next career opportunity. This is a full-time opportunity requiring weekend availability. As an MRI Technologist under the direction of a radiologist, your responsibilities include but are not limited to: Demonstrate a strong and thorough knowledge of all MRI and associated equipment and obtain high-quality MR images assuring only optimal films are submitted for interpretationFacilitate the MRI procedure by selecting proper technical factors/techniques to accommodate all patients and select, prepare and administer the appropriate contrast materialPrepare, transfer and position patients as needed ensuring modesty, safely utilizing auxiliary equipment and/or devices indicatedDocument all pertinent clinical information prior to exam, obtain informed consent, and complete all required fields within MEDITECH accurately and on timeMaintain proactive and effective communication with patient and other caregiver colleagues to include the radiologistCheck the operation of the equipment, maintain cleanliness of table/equipment to prevent cross-contamination of contagious diseases and keep room stocked with necessary suppliesAccept on-call and call-back responsibilities as needed to provide optimum patient care Qualifications 2 year/Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology Valid ARRT (MR) credential Clear/active State of Florida Department of Health licensure 2 years of diagnostic x-ray experience preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer relations, mathematical, analytical, grammar/spelling, read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, computer, clerical skillsHCA Florida Trinity Hospital is a 340-bed hospital serving Hillsborough, Pasco and Pinellas counties.
