This role supports planning, construction, space moves, and field coordination by updating drawings, verifying existing conditions, and ensuring project teams work from reliable technical documentation.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, revise, and maintain drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, and related drafting toolsPrepare plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations, sketches, FF&E layers, and move documentationUpdate campus, building, utility, and project drawing files based on field conditions and project changesIdentify incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate drawings and support corrective updatesAssist with site verification, field measurements, move plans, schedules, meetings, and project coordinationQualifications and Experience Must have a minimum of five (5) years Commercial Drafting experience. Must possess an associates degree in engineering Drafting or a bachelors degree. Must have the knowledge of healthcare design and the understanding of fire codes, lifesafety codes, building codes, barrier free design, systems, compose cleaning andmaintenance concepts, ergonomics and safety criteria. Must have the ability to review and interpret blueprints and specifications. Draftingassignments require comprehension of the detailed characteristics of item beingdesigned and association with accepted design practices. Must be skilled in free drawing and drawing to scale when on a job site measuring for aproject. Preferred certifications such as, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Des Expertisewith recommendations for the selection, specification, procurement, placement offurnishings. Preferred certifications in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design. 3 years of AutoCAD, 3 years of Revit, and 1 year of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word,PowerPoint & Outlook) are required. Microsoft Project & Microsoft Teams are beneficial but not required. xhyhwjd Must be able to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally with a variety ofcontractors, management officials, vendors, Contracting Officers at Long Beach staffand meet stated deadlines.Required SkillsAutoCAD proficiency; Revit preferredTechnical drawing, field verification, and document controlStrong accuracy, attention to detail, and coordination skillsCertification RequirementAutodesk certification preferredClearance RequirementVA background investigation / Public TrustSalary RangeTo be discussed
