Training Manager

Position OverviewWe are seeking an engaging, detail-oriented Training Manager to lead and develop user enablement, software onboarding, and technical training programs. This is a flexible, part-time hybrid role based in Naples, FL, ideal for an experienced corporate trainer, educator, instructional designer, or technical onboarding specialist.In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical tools and human execution—translating complex software functions and operational workflows into clear, digestible learning programs for our team and stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesCurriculum & Program Design: Create, update, and maintain instructional materials, quick-reference guides, video walkthroughs, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for software systems and core processes.Instruction & Delivery: Lead live interactive training sessions (in-person in Naples and virtually) for new employee onboarding, system rollouts, and ongoing skill development.Needs Assessment: Evaluate current user proficiency, identify skill gaps across departments, and tailor learning paths to match different learning speeds and tech literacy levels.LMS & Documentation Management: Organize training assets within our Learning Management System (LMS) or internal knowledge base to ensure resources remain accessible and up-to-date.Progress Tracking & Feedback: Measure training effectiveness through practical assessments, feedback surveys, and performance metrics; continuously refine course content based on results.Required QualificationsExperience: 2+ years of proven experience in teaching, corporate training, adult education, or instructional design.Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with AI/ML tooling, research computing, or higher-education and classroom environments is a plus, not a requirement.Location & Presence: Must be located in or near Collier County (Naples/Bonita Springs) to attend scheduled on-site sessions or team meetings in Naples as needed.Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills with an ability to explain complex technical concepts in plain, non-technical language.Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communication, Information Technology, Business, or equivalent practical experience.Preferred QualificationsPrior experience delivering software user adoption or IT system training.Hands-on experience with instructional design tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Camtasia, Loom, or Canva) and LMS platforms.Familiarity with adult learning methodologies (ADDIE, SAM, or agile training approaches).Schedule & Work EnvironmentSchedule: Flexible part-time schedule (approx. 15–25 hours per week) with flexible scheduling available for virtual days.Work Location: Hybrid model combining remote work with periodic on-site training sessions in Naples, FL.
