With decades of experience serving policyholders across the state, the organization is built on a foundation of knowledge, integrity, and performance.Headquartered in Tulsa, OK, our client maintains strong financial stability and is committed to long-term growth, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.Position SummaryThe Litigation Adjuster is responsible for the end-to-end management of complex and litigated bodily injury claims, including investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and resolution.This role requires a proactive, analytical professional who can confidently manage high-exposure claims while maintaining a strong focus on customer service and professionalism. The ideal candidate brings deep litigation experience and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesManage high-severity and complex claims, including litigated files, through resolutionDeliver a customer-focused claims experience with professionalism and responsivenessConduct thorough investigations, including:Coverage analysisLiability determinationDamage evaluationReview of legal pleadings and documentationCollaborate with Claims Manager and defense counsel on complex casesDevelop and execute strategic action plans to proactively resolve claimsEstablish and maintain accurate claim reserves reflecting financial exposureNegotiate settlements with plaintiff attorneys, insurance carriers, and claimants (represented and non-represented)Review medical records and property damage estimates to assess exposureIdentify and engage external resources (e.g., independent adjusters, appraisers, investigators)Monitor and control costs associated with claim resolutionAddress contractual indemnification and additional insured coverage issuesRecognize and refer claims to the Special Investigations Unit (SIU) and/or Subrogation when appropriateMaintain detailed and accurate claim file documentationAdapt to changing priorities and support team objectives as neededPerform additional duties as assignedQualificationsEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredBachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred5+ years of experience handling complex bodily injury claims3+ years of experience managing litigated claimsOklahoma Adjuster License required (or ability to obtain within 60 days)Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus, but not requiredProficiency in Microsoft Office and industry-standard claims systemsCompetencies, Skills & AbilitiesExceptional customer service and relationship management skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholdersAdvanced critical thinking and negotiation capabilitiesHighly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in claim managementAnalytical mindset with a solutions-driven approachAbility to perform effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environmentStrong technical knowledge of insurance products, policies, and claims practicesDemonstrates integrity and alignment with organizational valuesCompensation & BenefitsPay Range:Starting compensation: $75K – $85K annually, commensurate with experienceBenefits Include:Paid Time Off (PTO)Paid Holidays (including birthday)Health Insurance (90% employer-paid employee premium)Short-Term & Long-Term Disability (employer-paid)Life Insurance ($25,000 employer-paid)401(k) with 3% company matchEqual Opportunity EmployerOur client is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to fostering an inclusive workplace.
