Must be able to operate golf course maintenance equipment.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesMowing of greens, tees, fairways and roughs.Rake and maintain bunkers.Change flag positions.Operate seeders, aerators, blowers, tractors, trucks, carts spreaders, chainsaws, trimmers and other similar equipment.Remove trash and debris from groundsPerform related work, as required.Assist other members of staff as directed by supervisor.Other related duties as requiredQualificationsMust have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to operate golf course maintenance equipment. Knowledge of the methods, techniques, and materials used in the care of a golf course. Skilled in the operation and light maintenance of golf course equipment.Knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions of grounds care equipment.Ability to understand oral and written instructions.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all associates and the general publicBenefitsTalbot County Government employees are provided one of the most competitive pay and benefit packages in the area.
