Maintenance Manager

Overview Joyalways - We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations within our manufacturing facility in Greensboro NC. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, extensive technical knowledge, and proven management skills to ensure the optimal performance, safety, and reliability of all plant equipment and facilities. This role is critical in maintaining continuous production and minimizing downtime through effective maintenance strategies and team supervision. Responsibilities Lead and supervise the maintenance team, including technicians and contractors, to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks. Develop, implement, and oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Manage facilities maintenance activities including HVAC, electrical systems (high voltage and low voltage), mechanical systems, and general building upkeep. Troubleshoot complex issues involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, electrical circuits, and mechanical components. Oversee the installation, repair, and upgrade of industrial equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Plan and coordinate projects related to equipment upgrades, facility improvements, and safety enhancements. Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and parts inventory. Ensure adherence to safety protocols related to high voltage, low voltage systems, and industrial maintenance procedures. Monitor equipment performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction. Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize manufacturing efficiency. Skills Proven management experience with a strong background in facilities management within an industrial or manufacturing environment. Extensive knowledge of industrial maintenance practices including electrical (high voltage & low voltage), mechanical systems, HVAC systems, and schematics interpretation. Proficiency with CMMS software for work order management and maintenance scheduling. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and troubleshooting using schematics. Mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience including use of tools such as ohmmeters. Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously. Excellent leadership qualities with supervising experience in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills in English for clear reporting and team coordination. Ability to manage high-voltage systems safely while adhering to industry standards.
