CWI/Level II RT Technician
POSITION TITLE: CWI/Level II TechnicianThe CWI/Level II Technician is responsible for performing various methods of NDT/NDE in the methods they are certified, detailing examination findings in report format, and interfacing with the customer representative(s). Emphasis is placed on quality of the work product and the efficiency of work execution.Duties Include:Actively participate in Company and Client safety programsDemonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned CWI/NDT/NDE tasks, in which they are certified, and interpret results of inspectionsSet up and utilize various equipmentEnsuring strict adherence to industrial safety and health guidelines and our radiation safety program and regulationsOrganize and report test resultsFill out inspection reports, JSA's and documentation daily as requiredPerform other job-related tasks as assigned by managementAdheres to the Company PoliciesComplete timecards and expense reports daily Requirements: Self-motivated and reliableAbility to self-direct work scheduleMake and keep company and customer commitmentsAbility to lead othersSuccess in working on small teamsAbility to share on-the-job knowledge with othersAbility to communicate with multiple levels of employeesMaintain a high level of integrity and ethicsMust be able to pass a drug test, MVR and FBI background checkMust possess and maintain a valid driver's licenseMust abide by Company safety policies at all timesMust be available to work evenings and weekendsResponsible for all activities performed on locationMaintain all certificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentCertified or Certifiable Level II in any of the NDT/NDE methods (i.e. CWI, RT, MT, PT, UT and VT) Industrial Radiography Radiation Safety Program (IRRSP), agreement state card or card for radiography compliance. Must be able to maintain certifications.Knowledge of field NDT/NDE equipmentBasic computer skillsKnowledge in application and compliance requirements of regulatory codes (OSHA, EPA, etc.) and industry standards and recommended practices (API, NFPA, ASME, etc.) is preferred Working Conditions: Standing, walking, sitting, lifting, crawling, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, handling, fingering, feeling, talking, hearing, visual acuity, accommodation and color visionMoving, carrying and lifting objects in excess of 75 poundsClimbing and working off of ladders, stairs and scaffolding in excess of 100 feet continuously throughout shiftBe able to climb ladders and platforms up to 250 feet with a harness and lanyardBe able to step up into vehicles or onto equipmentWorking extended hours and standing for extended periods of timeWorking in indoor and outdoor environments in conditions of extreme heat and coldWork in and near industrial hazardsBe able to work outdoors in warm, hot and cold conditionsMust be able to travelMust be able to work overtime, weekends and evenings, as needed
