Inventory and Portfolio Analyst

Inventory and Portfolio AnalystHouston, TXOur client, a successfully growing and expanding global nutraceutical company, is seeking a new Inventory and Portfolio Analyst to join their Houston office. This position will be responsible for closely collaborating with a variety of internal departments to ensure the accuracy of inventory reconciliations and SKU portfolio management. RESPONSIBILITIES:Collaborate closely with a variety of departments to successfully manage end-to-end production and inventory control, reconciliation and reportingOversee New Production Introduction (NPI) processes, communicating effectively across internal departments to ensure organizational readinessSpearhead SKU portfolio management including rationalization, lifecycle management and performance monitoringManage Global Material Review Board (MRB) activities which include consolidation and reporting excess, obsolete and slow-moving inventoryServe as a process owner for ICFR for Inventory (Internal Controls over Financial Reporting), including documentation, testing and auditsReconcile Net Change Inventory (NCI) through process control, root cause analysis and continuous improvementMonitor supply chain and ERP network design impacts on inventory and serve as a process owner for sample inventory and sample flowsREQUIREMENTS:7+ years of inventory and financial controlling within a manufacturing environment Bachelors degree required, Masters degree preferred Hands on ERP experience with inventory and financial dataStrong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detailExpert skills in Excel using advanced formulas, pivots, data analysis and reconciliationsStrong understanding of inventory flows, valuation and controls
