Job DescriptionPersonal Lines Client Service SpecialistJob SummarySeeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Personal Lines Client Service Specialist to join a team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing administrative tasks related to account management and policy servicing within a Small Business Unit. You will play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate handling of client requests, policy updates, and back-end service work to support an exceptional client experience.Compensation Package Pay Range: $15–$23/hour (commensurate with experience)Benefits Include:Comprehensive health and wellness programs401(k) planResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate client files and account information.Process policy change requests, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations.Verify and process endorsements for accuracy and prepare them for delivery.Enter and rate policies in carrier websites and order new policies as needed.Issue standard certificates of insurance, auto ID cards, and other forms for policyholders.Prepare and send policy cancellation/lost policy release forms; follow up as necessary.Fully adopt and utilize innovative technology, including proprietary AI solutions, to enhance service delivery.Order motor vehicle reports (MVRs) and loss runs as directed.Review and process incoming mail; provide backup support for office phone calls and walk-in traffic.Perform other projects, duties, and tasks as assigned.Qualifications/Requirements Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.Experience:1+ year of customer service experience required.2+ years of experience in a similar role preferred.Brokerage experience is a plus.Licensing:Active Property and Casualty (P&C) license is a strong plus.Must obtain a P&C license within 90 days of hire if not already licensed.Certifications:Associate in Insurance (AINS) and/or Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation preferred.Skills and Knowledge:Knowledge of insurance markets, products, services, and underwriting procedures.Familiarity with personal lines of coverage.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and ability to learn new software.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to maintain effective relationships with clients, co-workers, carriers, and vendors.Ability to interpret written and oral communications, including policy documents.Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, depending on location.Work Style:Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
