This role reports to the Program Director and collaborates with VA client staff to support construction activities, generate reports, and serve as a client-side representative.Role Responsibilities Should DemonstrateProject financial managementConstruction schedule managementBudget oversightRisk managementQuality assuranceProgress meetingsCommissioning coordinationConstruction administrationTesting and inspection oversightClaims supportStakeholder coordination within occupied healthcare facilitiesRequired Experience And SkillsFederal construction project management experienceConstruction financial management including budget monitoring and cost accountingConstruction scheduling and baseline schedule managementProject controls and schedule analysisAdministration of construction contract change ordersBudget forecasting and cost trackingReview of contractor pay applicationsConstruction contract administrationRisk management and issue resolutionClaims analysis and resolution supportTesting and inspection coordinationCommissioning coordinationQuality assurance and quality managementProject Management Plan developmentCommunication, quality assurance, risk management, and schedule management planningProgress meeting facilitation and documentationProject documentation and correspondence managementCoordination with the COR, A/E teams, contractors, and facility stakeholdersReview of construction drawings, specifications, and contract documentsPreparation of Project Tracking Reports (PTR)Strong written and verbal communication skillsMicrosoft Office proficiencyEducation RequirementsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a closely related field.Consideration Of Experience In Place Of EducationMinimum ten (10) years of progressively responsible construction project management experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.Required Years Of ExperienceMinimum seven (7) years managing construction or renovation projects of similar size, scope, and complexity, preferably within healthcare or other regulated environments.The Pay Range For This Role Is90,000 - 115,000 USD per year (Waco, TX)
