The start date is ASAP for this contract to hire position.Job Title: Sr. Staff AI Security ArchitectLocation-Type: 100% REMOTEStart Date Is: ASAPDuration: Contract to HireCompensation Range: $90-110/hr on W2Benefits: Eligible for Health, Dental, Vision, 401KMust be authorized to work in the U.S. This position is not eligible for sponsorship.Job Description:The Sr. Staff AI Security Architect will lead enterprise AI security strategy, architecture, and governance initiatives to enable the secure adoption of Generative AI, agentic AI, and machine learning technologies across the organization.Day-to-Day Responsibilities:Define and maintain enterprise AI security architecture and roadmapLead AI threat modeling, abuse-case analysis, and AI risk assessmentsArchitect secure AI/LLM platforms, RAG frameworks, and AI agent controlsEstablish AI security standards, policies, and governance frameworksPartner with Security, Data, Product, Risk, Compliance, and Engineering teamsImplement AI-SDLC and LLMOps security controls across CI/CD pipelinesGuide AI red-teaming, adversarial testing, and monitoring initiativesAdvise leadership on AI security posture, regulatory risk, and mitigation strategiesConduct vendor and third-party AI security reviewsMentor architects and engineering teams on AI security best practicesRequirements:Must-Haves:10 years of security architecture experience in enterprise environments5 years designing security architectures within regulated industriesExpertise in cloud security, Zero Trust, IAM, API security, and authenticationStrong understanding of AI/ML systems, LLMs, agents, orchestration layers, and RAG architecturesExperience with DevSecOps, MLOps, Kubernetes/container security, and CI/CD security controlsKnowledge of cryptography, KMS/HSM, and secrets managementBackground in application security, threat modeling, and OWASP methodologiesFamiliarity with AI risk frameworks such as NIST AI RMF and OWASP Top 10 for LLMsProven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and executive leadershipExperience integrating security telemetry, monitoring, and SIEM workflowsNice-to-Haves:CISSP-ISSAP, GIAC, or related advanced security certificationsHands-on experience with Generative AI security and AI guardrail implementationsExperience with MITRE ATLAS, adversarial testing, and AI red/purple teamingLLMOps governance experience including model registry controls and artifact signingInfrastructure-as-code and policy-as-code expertiseAI governance and risk management program experienceExperience with data protection technologies including DLP, masking, and tokenizationBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
