Sr Mechanical Engineer

About the RoleWe are looking for a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the end-to-end design and development of complex electronic products. This role focuses on creating high-quality mechanical solutions including plastic and metal enclosures, internal components, and assemblies.You will work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, partnering with global teams and suppliers while driving innovation and product excellence. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop mechanical components and assemblies using PTC Creo & WindchillLead design reviews and technical discussions with cross-functional teams and global suppliers (Asia collaboration required)Perform design validation through CAE analysis, prototyping, and functional testingDevelop and execute test plans; analyze results to improve product performanceDrive innovation by exploring AI/ML applications in engineering and design workflowsCollaborate with teams across manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and marketingMentor junior engineers and review technical documentationSupport product lifecycle initiatives including cost optimization and performance improvementsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering6+ years of experience in mechanical/product designStrong expertise in:PTC Creo & WindchillPlastic & metal enclosure designGD&T and tolerance stack-upsDesign validation (CAE, testing, prototyping)Experience working with global suppliers (preferred)Strong understanding of sustainable design practicesNice to HaveExposure to AI/ML applications in engineering/designExperience in consumer electronics or similar industriesExperience developing internal tools or automation solutions
