Job Details: Location: Washington (WA) Schedule/Availability Requirements: Monday to Friday with the possibility of 1-2 calls and a 1:4 weekend call General Duties and Responsibilities: Assist with pre and postoperative patient evaluation and treatment Serve as an OR first assist for various surgeries, including coronary artery bypass, valve surgeries, aortic reconstruction, aortic arch reconstruction, robotic-assisted thoracic surgeries, endoscopic vein harvest, open radial artery harvest, minimally invasive valves, VATS, DaVinci Robot thoracic procedures, and more Manage ICU and step-down patients, handle emergent procedures on the floor, conduct daily rounds, prepare discharge summaries, and participate in call rotations Conduct walk-in/urgent clinic visits when the primary surgeon is unavailable Work with EPIC EMR and collaborate with supportive RN staff Staff retirement has prompted the need for coverage Inpatient setting Travel Preferences: Preferred lodging in select hotels Credentialing Information: Credentialing timeframe: 4-6 weeks Credentialing with other facilities: No Additional Details: Admissions per day: 20 (Adult) Submission Requirements: Board Certified - Required Active WA License - Required 3 years of CV/CT surgery experience - Required (Note at name clear) Availability stated at name clear - Required (Note at name clear) COVID Vaccination - Required (Note at name clear) ACLS, BLS, DEA Clean malpractice/background - Required Don't Miss This Opportunity!
