Signals Analyst, Level 1 with Security Clearance

What You Will Do: At Independent Software, as a Signals Analyst Level 1, you will support mission-critical national security operations by analyzing RF signals and identifying key characteristics to determine signal structure, parameters, and behavior. In this role, you will apply your expertise in signals analysis to support intelligence efforts across a variety of domains. You will work with a team of analysts and engineers to process, evaluate, and interpret signals data, contributing to the development of actionable intelligence. This position supports a broad range of mission areas focused on improving, protecting, and defending national security interests. Key Responsibilities:Analyze RF signals to identify signal structure, parameters, and behaviorApply signals analysis techniques across COMINT, ELINT, FISINT, and/or PROFORMA domainsProcess and interpret signals data to support mission objectivesIdentify patterns, anomalies, and characteristics within signal datasetsSupport development of analytical products and reportingCollaborate with analysts, engineers, and mission partners to support operational requirementsContribute to signal modeling and characterization effortsMaintain awareness of evolving signals analysis techniques and mission needs Required Skills and Qualifications:Experience in signals analysis, including COMINT, ELINT, FISINT, and/or PROFORMAUnderstanding of RF signals and signal characteristicsAbility to analyze and interpret technical data related to signal behaviorStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamStrong communication skills for reporting and collaboration Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physical Science, or a related technical discipline and two (2) years of relevant experience; ORAssociate's degree in a related discipline and four (4) years of relevant experience; ORHigh school diploma or GED and six (6) years of relevant experienceRelevant experience may include signals analysis (COMINT, ELINT, FISINT, PROFORMA), or design and engineering of aerospace, communications, electronic, or industrial systemsRelevant military training and programs may be considered, including but not limited to:Navy ELINT Analyst (9141)Air Force ELINT Analyst (1N2A)Intermediate or Advanced Signals Analysis training (451/461/452)Military COMINT Signals Analysis Program (MCSAP)Military ELINT Signals Analysis Program (MESAP)Military OpELINT Signals Analysis Program (MOSAP) Clearance Requirement:Must possess an active TS SCI with appropriate Polygraph to be considered for this role Why Choose Independent Software: At Independent Software, our people are the mission.
