Roll Inspection and Quality Assurance Technician (Booker)

Location: Union GroveShift: 1st Shift (6:00 AM - 2:00 PM)Wage Range: $20.00–$22.00A day in this roleYou arrive before 6:00 AM, review the schedule, and step into a work cell where precision is everything. Your morning starts by examining incoming rolls against blueprint tolerances. With calipers and micrometers in hand, you take accurate measurements, log results into the computer, and decide if each roll moves forward or needs rework.Mid-morning, a shipment is queued. You verify every outgoing roll, cross-checking technical drawings and confirming specifications are met. When materials need repositioning, you safely hop on a forklift to keep the workflow moving. Throughout the day, you coordinate with production and shipping colleagues, making sure every roll that leaves the building reflects the quality our customers expect.Before the day wraps, you tidy and organize your area—because a clean workspace supports accuracy and safety.
