Construction Foreman
Complete Landscape construction projects to include but are not limited to: hand digging, grading, moving soils and gravel, machine operations, fence installations, concrete installations, irrigation system installation, reaching over head, bending over, lifting over 50lbs, driving a company vehicle.
Understand the specifics of each project you are working on and ensure our team and the client are on the same page.
Pre-Order materials and equipment as needed.
Keep your crews truck well-organized and fully equipped truck
Drive a company vehicle with all needed maintenance equipment and personnel
Supervise and coordinate the activities of landscaping construction personnel.
Train and supervise new employees.
Reviews the assigned work and develops schedules.
Schedule and coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs.
Maintain accurate records of work performed.
Must be self-motivated and able to build strong relationships with clients and employees.
Educate customers in regard to their construction projects.
Maintains discipline to include coaching and mentoring team members as needed to ensure that maintenance crews provide quality work standards for each client.
Perform other various duties as assigned.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of landscaping construction, planning and execution
Operate equipment, drive with trailer or other small equipment.
Provide lead work direction to others.
Great communications in both verbal and written.
Valid driver's license required.
One to two years of experience in landscape construction
You must be professional and friendly, paying attention to detail, and take pride in your work.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
Must be able to complete physical labor at a steady passe, outdoors for up to 8 hours.
Crewman
Responsibilities:
Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as pushing a mower, string trimming, pruning hedges, using blowers, applying pesticides and herbicides
Follow assigned work and schedules.
Must be self-motivated and able to build strong relationships with clients and employees.
Ensure quality work up to Company standards
Assist at the shop to include sweeping, organizing, cleaning
Take good care of our equipment. Ensure proper Oil & Gas Mixture and safe handling
Perform other various duties as assigned.
