Warehouse Technician Job SummaryWith limited supervision, the Warehouse Technician independently performs warehouse operations including receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping materials, equipment, and supplies in a chemical plant environment. This position is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy through cycle counting, investigating and resolving routine discrepancies, and ensuring proper material handling and storage practices. The Warehouse Technician operates proficiently with the Oracle ERP system, manages vendor interactions for routine matters, and serves as a resource for internal stakeholders seeking inventory information. This role requires the ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously, make independent decisions on standard warehouse operations, and escalate only complex or unusual situations to supervision. The Warehouse Technician demonstrates consistent adherence to EH&S regulations, champions safety protocols, and provides informal mentorship and training support to less experienced warehouse staff.
