This role focuses on budget formulation, execution, and analysis across Operations & Maintenance (O&M) and Research, Development, Test & Evaluation (RDT&E) programs.The selected candidate will play a key role in delivering financial insights, supporting Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) activities, and ensuring effective resource management across the organization.ResponsibilitiesPerform budget formulation, execution, and analysis across multiple appropriationsDevelop and track funding packages, commitments, obligations, and expendituresConduct financial analysis using data from multiple DoD systems and reporting toolsSupport PPBE activities, including POM, BES, and budget submission processesMonitor program execution and provide variance analysis against planned performanceAssist leadership with funding decisions, cost estimates, and program prioritizationPrepare financial reports, briefings, and status updates for leadership and stakeholdersSupport audit readiness efforts, including FIAR compliance and internal controlsIdentify and resolve financial discrepancies and system-related issuesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reportingSkills RequiredExperience supporting DoD Financial Management operations (Air Force preferred)Knowledge of PPBE processes and federal budgeting principlesFamiliarity with financial systems such as DEAMS, CRIS, JOCAS, DTS, or similarStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial dataProficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and WordAbility to communicate effectively with leadership and stakeholdersBachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field (or equivalent experience)Reasonable Accommodations: Accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the role.Teksouth is an employee-owned company.
