1st Shift Weekend Shift Warehouse Lead Job Category: WarehouseFull-TimeOn-siteGrove City Facility - II FST Logistics Grove City, OH 43123, USADescription Responsibilities:Ensure daily work activities for the shift team are done efficiently and effectively to meet customer demandsResponsible for directly training and assisting with day-to-day operations within the warehouse as well as monitor employees' productivity and coordinate daily work activitiesOperate warehouse equipment which may include forklift and reach trucksTrain employees on safety, processes, and workflow within the warehouseUtilize a Warehouse Management SystemParticipate in assigned training programs and adhere to all guidelinesCommunicate with co-workers to ensure a consistent team environment and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work areaProvide feedback through side-by-side coaching and on-the-job training and comply with all FST Standard Operating Procedures and PoliciesPerform and assist with additional warehouse functions as needed and due to business needsComply with all defined business process and the utilization of all technology platforms, as defined by FSTRequirements:Live FST Traits of Reliable, Responsive, Adaptable, Passionate, and InnovativeTake ownership of your Duty to Communicate all required and relevant information to necessary people, departments, and customersHigh School or equivalent education1+ year of experience in leadership or related experience2+ years' experience in warehouse, distribution, or logisticsMust possess strong interpersonal skills in dealing with customers and employeesAbility to use good judgment and think quickly and rationally in difficult or stressful situationsClear verbal communication skills and ability to give and follow written and oral instructionsAbility to effectively organize and prioritize work as well as concentrate on multiple tasks simultaneouslyAbility to work independently and make responsible decisionsAble to stand, walk, bend, push, reach and do repetitive motion for extended periods of timeAbility to work in a variety of temperatures (warm and cold)Regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs.Disclaimer: This job description does not include every duty or responsibility that the employee may be asked to perform at some point in time.
