Inside Sales Representative

We are growing again!Inside SalesWe are looking to add and qualified person as an Inside Sales Representative at our Wallingford, CT. District Office / Warehouse.The candidate will be responsible for inside sales and support, as well as support for our outside sales team, distributors, OEM’s, and end users in the industrial electric motor industry.Candidate will assist in selecting products, both stock and custom engineered, order entry, and customer service.Duties and responsibilities will include (but not limited to):• Have an understanding of our company’s products, processes and capabilities to serve our customers. Provide customer service and technical support to our outside sales representatives and our customer base.• Serve as a representative of the company in developing and maintaining effective working relationships with customers and providing solutions to their needs.• Reviews customer and other applicable specs to determine requirements and/or product feasibility.• Responds to customer inquiries, provides quotes, order entry, and other customer service functions.• Work with customers to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise within the process of quote to delivery. Required Skills and Experience:• Strong customer orientation and ability to effectively communicate, build relationships, present ideas, and partner with internal/external resources to meet customer needs.• Has excellent computer skills. MS Office, Outlook, Salesforce, and SAP a plus.• Problem-solving abilities.• Effective time management skills in prioritizing and addressing multiple and at times conflicting demands.• High energy with a sense of urgency in responding to customer needs.• High level of personal and professional integrity.• Commitment to our company’s values.• Attention to detail in maintaining required records and reports.We offer a competitive benefits package which includes paid vacation, 401K, medical and dental insurance.
