Come join our team and work inspired each day!About the OpportunityNetDocuments is seeking a Technical Trainer with a passion for technology, enablement, and legal industry transformation. This role will deliver comprehensive product and implementation program training to NetDocuments Global Channel Partners, with a growing emphasis on AI capabilities and legal‐specific workflows. The Technical Trainer will play a critical role in shaping how partners understand and apply our solutions, particularly in legal, compliance, and professional services environments.Reporting to the Director of Partner Success, this role requires not only technical training acumen but also a solid understanding of legal operations, AI‐powered document management, and the evolving needs of law firms and legal departments.What Your Contributions Will BeFacilitate multi‐day training programs (virtual and onsite) across global time zones with legal‐industry contextual examplesCollaborate with the Partner Enablement team to design and continuously improve course materials that incorporate AI features, legal‐specific workflows, and best practicesDeliver engaging, technically sound sessions that prepare partners for certification and real‐world implementation, using scenarios from legal and regulated industriesIdentify skill and knowledge gaps across partner teams and recommend targeted enablement solutions, especially around legal innovation and AI adoptionCreate and maintain a recertification program that adapts as products, AI capabilities, and legal technology needs evolveEnsure follow‐through and program completion with personalized partner support, coaching, and learning journeysStay current on NetDocuments AI functionality, emerging legal technology trends, and legal use cases to keep training highly relevant and practicalWhat You Will Bring to the TeamA deep understanding of how legal professionals use technology, including document management systems, AI‐driven search, and workflow automationThe ability to translate technical functionality into business value, particularly in law firms, legal operations, compliance, or corporate legal departmentsA learner‐first mindset—balancing clarity, empathy, and impact in every training sessionSkills in knowledge transfer and curriculum development with an eye toward legal relevance and partner successWhat your contributions will beProvide implementation oversight to ensure alignment with NetDocuments standards, timelines, and customer expectations—including review of migration and configuration plans in high‐risk or complex environmentsTake ownership of partner and customer challenges by identifying risks early, resolving issues efficiently, and ensuring they are fully addressedMonitor partner performance using tools like Salesforce and Gainsight to identify risks, surface underperformance (e.g., certification gaps, delayed SOWs), and escalate issues as neededSupport partner onboarding by shadowing their first implementation—reviewing deliverables, providing structured feedback, and validating readiness for independent deliveryAct as a liaison for partners—coordinating across internal teams to resolve issues, represent partner needs, and ensure aligned support throughout the implementation processBuild strong relationships with both partners and customers to foster collaboration and ensure project successPresent confidently to partners, customers, and internal stakeholders in meetings, project updates, and briefingsContribute to the creation of enablement tools, training content, and templates that support scalable partner and customer successSupport strategic business outcomes, including Net Revenue Retention (NRR), Gross Revenue Retention (GRR), and partner delivery KPIsOther duties as assigned.Required Education and Experience3+ years of proven experience as a technical trainer or in a technical enablement roleExperience with SQLStrong presentation skills and comfort with delivering training to diverse audiences, including legal professionalsFamiliarity with modern learning tools and training techniques, including the use of LMS platforms, video modules, and performance‐based assessmentExperience with enterprise cloud applications and understanding of implementation challenges in the legal sectorAwareness of AI tools in legal tech (e.g., document summarization, smart search, clause extraction, redlining automation), and enthusiasm for staying up to date with their use in real‐world legal scenariosAbility to work independently in a fast‐paced, ever‐evolving SaaS environmentIdeally You Will HaveDirect experience working in, consulting for, or training legal professionals (law firms, legal ops, or corporate legal teams)Familiarity with legal practice management systems, document lifecycle management, or AI applications in legal servicesKnowledge of AI capabilities in document management systems and a passion for demystifying them for learnersBenefits90% healthcare premiums company coveredHSA company contribution401K match at 4% with immediate vestingFlexible PTO (typically 3 to 4 weeks a year)10 paid holidaysMonthly contributions for wellnessAccess to LinkedIn Learning with monthly dedicated time to exploreCompensation TransparencyThe annual compensation range for this position is: $85,000 - $100,000The posted cash compensation for this position includes on target earnings, base salary and variable if applicable.
