This position has a hybrid schedule, 40-50% of the time in the office in Amelia, OH.The Assistant Vice President, Financial Systems is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing financial systems operations and leading largescale finance transformation initiatives. This position partners closely with Finance, IT, and Data teams to modernize systems, improve processes, and support statutory and IFRS financial reporting.What You'll DoLead daytoday financial systems supporting accounting, regulatory, and compliance reportingDrive finance systems transformation and automation initiativesManage crossfunctional teams supporting system operations and process improvementPartner with senior Finance and IT leaders to deliver complex, enterprisewide projectsOversee change management, governance, and internal controls for new systems and processesAdvance data, analytics, and automation capabilities within FinanceRepresent Finance in global and enterprise financial initiativesWhat You BringTen to fifteen years of progressive experience in Finance and Accounting, preferably in insuranceStrong experience managing financial systems and large transformation programsProven leadership of crossfunctional teams and complex initiativesDeep understanding of accounting processes, financial reporting, and financial systemsStrong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skillsEducationBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Management Information Systems requiredMaster's degree and CPA certification preferredAt American Modern, we see Diversity and Inclusion as a solution to the challenges and opportunities all around us.
