Job DescriptionAbout The TeamWe are a team of passionate engineers responsible for the data ingestion infrastructure of Etsy's primary data sources. The tools and services covered include event logging, data replication from MySQL to BigQuery, and BigQuery table snapshotting into GCS.About The RoleWe are looking for a short term contractor to join the Data Collections team to collaborate directly with other engineers on the team (both senior and junior) to plan out and execute on new user-facing features.RequirementsMust-HavesHave at least 5 years of software engineering experienceFull-stack experience, but expertise is in writing modular front end components - ideally in React.Experience with PHP, OAuth and API frameworksWrite understandable, testable code with an eye towards maintainability and scalability.
