Process Engineer
Job Location: Oceanside, CA
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering
4-7 years of experience, preferable in Industrial Pharmaceuticals and Chemicals
Design and commissioning of new processes and plants at the site
Assisting and troubleshooting processes and equipment
Experience working on an operating site, high hazard site, cGMP and ISO standards
Process Hazard Analysis, implementing and supporting Process Safety Management, sizing and selecting chemical process equipment experience
Experience reading and commenting P&ID, PFD, and other technical drawings.
Proficient in IT (Office packages)
Working knowledge of Autocad and other engineering tools
Improvements in the technical, operational, and financial performance of production units
Job Responsibilities:
Ensuring all processes are implemented to meet
Design processes and equipment meeting all applicable codes and regulations
Working with other members of the project team, Production, EHS and Quality teams, external vendors, and contractors
Commissioning new plant and processes
Optimizing the operation of existing processes
Aiding and troubleshooting support to the site operating team to maintain plant production & quality
Providing specialist technical assistance to the site HSE department, including providing responses to questions from the regulatory authorities (California, USA and International)
Training site staff in new processes & programs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
