The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for fixing and maintaining mechanical equipment, buildings, and machines. Tasks include plumbing work, painting, flooring repair and upkeep, electrical repairs, and heating and air conditioning system maintenance.This is an in-person position located on-site of the property. The schedule for this role is Tuesday - Saturday from 8am - 5pm and position requires a rotating on-call schedule.What You’ll DoPrioritize above all a strong customer service outlook through personal contact with residents and guestsPerform routine building maintenance duties, including painting, minor electrical repairs, plumbing, carpentry, and heating and ventilation systems maintenanceConduct preventative maintenance work and safety inspections as scheduledDiagnose mechanical issues and correct themRepair machines, equipment, or structures as necessaryClean the interior of the building, as well as machinery and equipment, and the exterior of the buildingComply with all safety and health regulationsKeep inventory of maintenance and cleaning supplies and equipment, and report needs to supervisorWork with and maintain relationships with contracted vendorsRespond to emergency calls for maintenance and repairsMust be available to work on an on-call basis.Perform other related duties and assignments as needed and assigned.Auto req ID472337BRMinimum Education RequiredHigh School/GEDJob_CategoryMaintenanceAdditional Qualifications/ResponsibilitiesHigh school diploma or GEDProven maintenance experience or related degree from a technical collegeSkilled in the use of hand and power toolsAbility to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective partsAbility to check blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessaryAbility to use common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenchesExperience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devicesExperience performing routine maintenanceStrong organizational and follow up skillsKeen attention to detailProfessional presentation and attitudeAbility to maintain focus while working individuallyStrong time management skillsCPO and HVAC certifications are requiredKnowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems (including relevant equipment and tools) is a plusAbility to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and other manuals and documentsAbility to work in a team and follow instructions from supervisorsMay be required to work outside of regular work hoursCity*DenverState*ColoradoJob CodeHospitality_ HospitalityAffiliate SponsorSentral
