Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:
Order Management: Oversee the order entry process and manage change orders for Powercon sub-assemblies and components.
Record Maintenance: Organize and store office records in both paper and digital formats.
System Proficiency: Learn and utilize Powercon’s internal programs, processes, and software to achieve business objectives.
Communication Coordination: Handle and prioritize general email requests.
Departmental Support: Assist sales, operations, receiving, accounting, and shipping teams to ensure customer orders are fulfilled efficiently.
Process Improvement: Identify and lead projects aimed at enhancing the order entry process.
Inventory Support: Address inventory and related business needs within the scope of the role.
Customer Satisfaction: Ensure customer satisfaction with Powercon products through effective management of responsibilities.
Quality and Compliance: Adhere to Powercon’s Quality Management System, Quality Policy, and departmental goals.
Costing and Pricing: Develop an understanding of costing and pricing models to support business requirements.
Ethical Conduct: Uphold Powercon Corporation’s Ethical Standards of Conduct, including commitment to integrity, diversity, and fairness.
Cross-Departmental Support: Provide temporary support to other departments as needed.
Purchasing Assistance: Assist the purchasing department by creating orders and conducting necessary follow-ups.
Operational Support: Work with operations to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Office Tools: Leverage office tools to optimize and streamline tasks.
Skills, Education & Training:
Self-Starter: Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, overcome obstacles, and perform effectively with minimal supervision.
Project Support: Understand project implementation processes to effectively support Powercon’s sub-assemblies and components.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel: Demonstrated ability to efficiently use Microsoft Word for document creation, formatting, and editing, as well as Microsoft Excel for data analysis, spreadsheet management, and complex calculations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
